ShapingDesign
Hi, I’m Anthony Garcia. My journey as a designer began in the mid-2010s, fueled by a passion for creativity and a dedication to self-learning. Over the years, I’ve worked across in-house teams, and agencies, and as a freelancer, taking on diverse challenges. From crafting high-level campaigns and redesigning websites to shaping video service offerings and streamlining workflows through process design, I’ve embraced a variety of roles that showcase the evolving possibilities of design.
When I’m not designing, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife, Vivian, diving into a good book, exploring watercolor painting, staying active at the gym, or enjoying the outdoors.

Design Values
Design is more than aesthetics; it’s a powerful tool for creating meaningful connections and driving results. Here’s what guides my approach to impactful design:
Consistency and Scalability
A cohesive design system creates trust and recognition, ensuring that every element feels aligned and intentional. Scalability ensures that as needs grow, our design solutions grow seamlessly alongside them.
Driving the Business Forward
Great design isn’t just creative—it’s strategic. By aligning design with business goals, we create solutions that contribute to growth, innovation, and measurable success.
Serving the Customer’s Needs
At the heart of impactful design is empathy. By understanding and prioritizing the needs of our customers, we deliver solutions that solve problems, enhance experiences, and build loyalty.
Progress Over Perfection
Impactful design prioritizes momentum over getting everything perfect the first time. By embracing iteration and adaptability, we create solutions that evolve and improve with time, delivering value at every step.
Leadership Values
"Leadership is influence—nothing more, nothing less." John C. Maxwell’s words perfectly encapsulate what drives my approach to professional leadership. Leadership isn’t about titles, authority, or popularity—it’s about the ability to inspire, guide, and make a meaningful impact. True leadership is measured not by how much you know, but by how much you invest in those around you.
For me, leadership is an intentional practice, built on the foundation of growth, legacy, service, and purpose. It requires continuous learning, a commitment to developing others, and a servant-hearted approach that prioritizes both people and results. Here’s what defines my leadership philosophy:
Continuous Growth
I believe in fostering a culture of lifelong learning, where growth is a conscious choice made by every team member. Professional and personal development go hand in hand. While aging is inevitable, growth is optional. I am a leader committed to inspiring and equipping my team to evolve and excel continuously.
Plan for Succession
Leadership is about building legacies, not silos. I embrace the responsibility of preparing my team and organization for the future by creating sustainable systems, accessible documentation, and repeatable processes. True leadership lies in empowering others to thrive long after my tenure, ensuring continuity and progress.
Servant-Hearted
As a servant leader, I prioritize my team's needs, well-being, and growth. I aim to empower and uplift those I lead by fostering an environment of empathy, trust, and mutual respect. True leadership is not about authority but about service, support, and shared success.
Intentionality
Every action and decision we take must align with our business objectives, priorities, and financial responsibilities. Our work exists because of our customers, and our purpose is to serve them with excellence. As leaders, we ensure that our efforts are never self-serving or clouded by personal bias but are focused on delivering value to our customers and meeting the needs of the business.
